TAMPA BAY - Statement from Storm president Derrick Brooks regarding quarterback Adrian McPherson's placement on injured reserve:

"Adrian McPherson is a key member of our team. It is disappointing that his record-breaking season was cut short due to injury. Adrian is a tremendous quarterback, and we are confident that he will make a full and speedy recovery."
