
Storm players to help Katrina relief in Gulfport

TAMPA BAY - Players from the five-time World Champion Tampa Bay Storm will travel to Gulfport, Mississippi this Sunday to aid Hearts with Hands, Inc. in distributing donations collected at the St. Pete Times Forum since the arena started taking donations on August 31.
Quarterback Shane Stafford, All-Arena wide receiver/linebacker Lawrence Samuels, defensive specialist Jonathan Ordway and lineman Nyle Wiren will travel to and return from the disaster area via private plane on Sunday.
The group will aid Hearts with Hands, Inc. in distributing donated items to those in need. More than 19 semi-trucks have been filled at the St. Pete Times Forum to date with donations continuing until 3 p.m. on Saturday.
There is limited space for media interested in traveling to Gulfport with the group. Those interested should contact Brian Breseman at 813.301.6871 or 813.714.2341.
