Storm not "Majical" in loss to Gladiators

ROME, GA- The Rome Gladiators were anxious heading into their match up with the Marietta Storm on Wednesday night. It was not just another game, two members of the 2005 Championship team, MaJic Dorsey and Jamerio Moon, returned to the Winthrop-King Centre but this time as members of the visiting team.

Majic Dorsey was up for the challenge leading all scorers with 28 points but was not enough as the Storm fell 105-93! The Gladiators showed why they were a second half time after coming back from a 16 point first half deficit.

Three Gladiators ended the night scoring over 20 points; Ray Cunningham with 26, Carl Edwards with 24 and Rasheim Wright with 22.

Rome inproved their record to 10-2 and are on an eight game win streak.

*Next month, MaJic Dorsey will appear on the cover of ESPN The Magazine in a Rome Gladiators jersey.

Rome will be back at home Thursday June 22 and Saturday June 24 to wrap up the regular season at the Winthrop-King Centre on the campus of Shorter College.
