Storm Home Opener Moved
Published on December 30, 2002 under National Lacrosse League (NLL) News Release
The New Jersey Storm will now play its first home game of the 2002-2003 season at the Continental Airlines Arena versus the Columbus Landsharks on Sunday, January 5th at 2:00 p.m Eastern Time. The game, originally scheduled for January 4th at 7:30pm, is being moved to accommodate the New York Jets home playoff game versus the Indianapolis Colts at Giants Stadium at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. The New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority does not allow additional events to take place at the Meadowlands Sports Complex during a major event at Giants Stadium, in order to ensure public safety and ample parking spaces for all fans.
Fans may use their January 4th tickets for the January 5th game or exchange their tickets for any other Storm home game this season. The January 5th game is also being televised live on Fox Sports Net - New York at 2:00 p.m.
