
Storm Hold On For 63-55 Win Over Milwaukee Mustangs

TAMPA BAY -- In a turnover infested game, Tampa Bay held off a potent Milwaukee Mustangs, 63-55, to wins its 6th home game without a loss Saturday night on the Amalie Motor Oil Field at the Tampa Bay Times Forum.
Storm quarterback Stephen Wasil connected with Amarri Jackson for three touchdowns and Prechae Rodriguez for two more. Tampa Bay, now 6-5, could be tied with the Georgia Force for first place in the Southern Division of the American conference. Georgia played at Kansas City Saturday night. Each team committed 5 turnovers apiece.
The Storm saw two large lead evaporate as the Mustangs rallied each time. Tampa Bay led 35-21 in the second quarter, but by 8:35 of the 3rd had tied the game at 35-all.
The Tampa Bay Storm travels to Jacksonville to face the defending ArenaBowl Champion Sharks at Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena. Kickoff is set for 7:00 PM.
