Storm Adds to Defensive Backfield

TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Storm is pleased to announce it has acquired defensive back Tim Shelley II. The team reassigned defensive lineman Julius Forte

Shelley (6-foot-1, 205 lbs., Fort Valley State) joins Tampa Bay for his first season in a Storm uniform. He spent time with the Storm during this season's training camp. The Macon, GA native played collegiately at the College of DuPage prior to transferring to Fort Valley State. He began his professional career with the Spokane Shock in 2014 and has experience playing in other indoor football leagues.

The team reassigned defensive lineman Julius Forte. Forte played in two games this season, recording 1.5 tackles.

The Five-Time World Champion Tampa Bay Storm enters its 28th season in the Arena Football League. The Storm will host "Faith and Family Night," when it takes on the San Jose SaberCats on Friday, April 10, on AMALIE Motor Oil Field at Amalie Arena.
