Storm Adds to Defense and Offense

TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Storm is pleased to announce the acquisition of rookie defensive back Paul Robinson and rookie offensive lineman A.J. Harmon.

Robinson (5-foot-10, 185 lbs., Pittsburg State) begins his rookie season in the Arena Football League with the Storm. The Killeen, Texas native played collegiately at Dodge City Community College before transferring to Pittsburg State (KS) for his junior and senior seasons. At Dodge City, Robinson recorded 28 tackles, two interceptions and two pass breakups.

At Pittsburg State, Robinson started in 24-of-26 games for the Gorillas and recorded 95 tackles, eight tackles for loss, four interceptions, nine pass breakups, a fumble recovery and two blocked kicks. He would go on to help lead his team to a NCAA Division II National Championship in 2011.

Robinson has experience playing in various indoor football leagues.

Harmon (6-foot-5, 330 lbs., Cumberland) joins the Storm for his first season in the Arena Football League. The Louisville, Georgia native began playing collegiately at the University of Georgia before settling in at Cumberland University. At Cumberland, Harmon started in 22 games earning second team AFCA-NAIA Coaches' All-America honors in his senior season.

Harmon began his professional career in 2014 as an undrafted rookie free agent with the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League.

The Five-Time World Champion Tampa Bay Storm enters its 28th season in the Arena Football League. The Storm calls AMALIE Arena its home where it plays all home games on AMALIE Motor Oil Field.
