PORT CHARLOTTE - The Charlotte Stone Crabs mounted a comeback victory on a wacky Friday the 13th to walk-off in extra-innings against the Jupiter Hammerheads by a 3-2 final at Charlotte Sports Park.

Riccio Torrez supplied the game winning hit with an opposite field single that plated Kevin Kiermaier in the bottom of the 10th inning. It not only propelled Charlotte (5-3) to victory but also gave Torrez an eight game hitting streak to start the season.

Stone Crabs starter Albert Suarez locked up with Hammerheads lefty Chad James in a battle that went blow for blow. Each man threw six innings of four-hit, one-run ball, leaving each offense scratching their heads.

After Suarez departed, George Jensen (2-0) came in and did the rest. Jensen finished the game with four innings in relief to pick up the victory.

Isaac Galloway momentarily put the Hammerheads (2-6) ahead with his 10th inning RBI single, but the Stone Crabs rallied to win in dramatic fashion. Charlotte loaded the bases in the bottom half, plating the tying run on Phil Wunderlich's sacrifice fly. Torrez took care of the game winner.

Charlotte broke out on top in the fourth inning. Rehabbing Rays outfielder B.J. Upton singled and promptly stole both second and third before scoring on Mikie Mahtook's infield single. Jupiter answered in the fifth inning with an RBI groundout by Ryan Fisher.

The Stone Crabs look for the series sweep on Saturday behind Braulio Lara. He will match up against Jupiter's Grant Dayton in a battle of left-handers. First pitch is set for 6:30 p.m.
