Stone Crabs Advance to Championship Series

PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. - The Charlotte Stone Crabs advanced to the Florida State League Championship Series after defeating the division-rival Fort Myers Miracle 3-2 Thursday night at Hammond Stadium.

The Stone Crabs will travel to Steinbrenner Field to face the North Division champion Tampa Yankees before hosting Games 3-5 at Charlotte Sports Park starting on Sunday, September 13.

Sunday's game starts at 5:35 p.m. and both Monday and Tuesday's games (if necessary) will start at 7:05 p.m. for the best-of-five Championship Series.

Playoff tickets, like regular season tickets, start at just $5 and can be purchased by calling 941-206-HITS or visiting the Charlotte Sports Park box office. The operating hours for the box office are as follows:

Monday-Friday: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Saturday: 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Sunday: 12:00 p.m. - End of Game
