STLFC Announces 2019 Preseason Schedule

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Saint Louis FC announced the remainder of their preseason schedule which includes four matches in Missouri before opening the 2019 USL Championship season at home to Indy Eleven on March 9th at 1:00 p.m. CT.
Saint Louis FC will begin preseason competition on February 9th at 2:00 p.m. CT against OKC Energy FC with a game hosted at Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri. The team will then depart on February 11th for their preseason training camp in San Antonio, Texas where they will face an unnamed USL Western Conference team on February 13th and San Antonio FC on February 16th in closed-door scrimmages. Saint Louis FC then returns to Toyota Stadium to host a USL Championship double-header weekend with a game against Tulsa Roughnecks FC on February 23rd at 1:00 p.m. CT before facing a USL Eastern Conference team (TBA) on February 24th at 1:00 p.m. CT. The games are open to the public with a purchase of a $10 ticket that grants admission to both games with proceeds benefiting the Special Needs Soccer Association (SPENSA) and Disabled Athletes Sports Association (DASA). At this time, none of the preseason games will be streamed online.
Saint Louis FC will conclude the preseason with a friendly against newly-formed Forward Madison FC of USL League One on March 2nd at 1:00 p.m. CT. The game against Forward Madison FC will be exclusive to 2019 season ticket members and include the annual "Meet the Team" party with food and drinks at the conclusion of the match in the Soccer Park Ballroom and Grill. More details about the season ticket member-only event will be released soon.
"We're really pleased with the quality of opposition this preseason," said STLFC Head Coach Anthony Pulis. "We feel these games, especially on home turf, will give us good tests physically and tactically to prepare us as best as possible for the opener against Indy Eleven on March 9th."
