STLFC Academy U15 Player Trains with AS Roma

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Saint Louis FC Academy U15 player Wyatt Lewis recently returned from an Academy training camp with St. Louis Scott Gallagher affiliate club AS Roma after being identified this past summer.
"I went to a series of camps this past summer where they [identified] me," said Lewis. "They asked if I wanted to go and train with the Academy team."
Lewis went on to say the typical day started with some sight-seeing and then he would go to the AS Roma complex to train an hour-and-a-half to two hours a day. The training sessions focused more on the relationship with the ball and how to control it.
When asked if he thought he was a better player after going over to Europe, Lewis replied, "Definitely."
