Sting Sign Ten from Sunday's Tryout, Look for More Talent this Saturday

Saginaw, MI - Coming out of a successful tryout this past Sunday at Kokomo's Family Fun Center the Sting are proud to announce that ten players received contract offers for the 2012 season.
Players included WR Jeff Austin (SVSU), K Patrick Sijan (Northwood), LB Rodney Gallon (Florida State/SVSU), DE Rashiem Briggs (Northwood), QB Eric Smith (Anderson U), LB Sidney Gottschalk, DE Charles Moten, WR Dennis Emmendorfer, WR Jeremy Emmendorfer, and RB/DB Tyler Guthrie.
Each of these players earned the right to attend the Sting's training camp set to begin on Monday February 20th inside the Saginaw Athletic Club on Gratiot Rd in Saginaw with practice beginning at 8:00PM. The team expects to have as many as 40 players in camp when things get started before finalizing their 25 man roster prior to their March 18th home opener against the Chicago Vipers.
