Arizona Sting News Release

GLENDALE, ARIZONA --- Arizona Sting General Manager and Head Coach Bob Hamley announced today that the Sting have signed rookie forwards Joel Wilson and Dave Cutten to free agent contracts.

Wilson spent the 2007 season with Kitchener-Waterloo of the Ontario Lacrosse Association Major Series. He finished the season with 47 points on 23 goals and 24 assists, which ranked second on the Kodiaks behind 2007 NLL Rookie of the Year Ryan Benesch.

"We are looking forward to seeing Joel at training camp," said Hamley. "We hope his performance in the OLA this summer will carry over to the NLL season."

A native of Kitchener, Ontario, Wilson is the younger brother of Toronto Rock forward Aaron Wilson, a five-year NLL veteran.

Cutten played for the Kitchener-Waterloo Braves of the OLA Jr. A series in 2007. The team captain finished third on the Braves in scoring with 36 points on 19 goals and 17 assists.

"We're hopeful that Dave will make an impact at training camp," said Hamley.
