Sting Re-Sign WR, Announce Themes for First 3 Home Games

SAGINAW, MI - The Saginaw Sting are pleased to announce the re-signing of WR Andrew Beaver. Andrew, a graduate from Saginaw Valley State University, will return to his familiar role lined up next to Zach Nichols. The duo deep threats will provide QB Tommy Jones a couple of options when looking downfield this season.
"We are extremely excited to have Andrew back this year," said Head Coach Vince Leveille. "He is a dynamic touchdown scoring machine. He was an All Conference receiver and record setter at SVSU and will be a great asset to our offense."
The Sting host their final tryout this Saturday, February 18th, at the Perani Arena in Flint at 5:30PM. Information regarding how to preregister is located on our website at www.saginawsting.com.
In addition, the Sting would like to officially announce the lineup of events taking place for the first half of their home schedule. Each night will begin with a tailgate party which will include drink specials and feature live entertainment by the local cover band Rock The Party!

Sunday, March 18th vs. Chicago Vipers - 3PM Tailgate, 4:30PM Kickoff:
"Night of the Champions" -- This evening will be one to remember for the local high school state champions as they will have the opportunity to be honored during the halftime ceremony. Come share in this memorable experience as the Sting also unveil their 2011 Championship banner as well!
Sunday, March 25th vs. Indianapolis Enforcers - 3PM Tailgate, 4:30PM Kickoff:
"Faith & Family Night" -- Discounted group ticket prices are available for this event which will include a free Christian concert in Unity Hall (located inside The Dow Event Center) following the conclusion of the game! Friday, March 30th vs. Evansville Rage - 6PM Tailgate, 7:30PM Kickoff:
