
Sting activate Jessica Moore

The Charlotte Sting today activated forward/center Jessica Moore from the injured list and placed forward/center Janel McCarville on the injured list with a lower back sprain, it was announced by Charlotte Sting General Manager and Head Coach Trudi Lacey.
Moore was selected by the Sting with the 24th overall pick in the 2005 WNBA Draft. The 6-3 University of Connecticut graduate was placed on the injured list on May 20 with a left ankle sprain and has not yet seen action in a Sting regular season game. During the 2005 preseason, she recorded four points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals in two games.
Selected by the Sting with the top overall pick in the 2005 WNBA Draft, McCarville suffered a lower back sprain at the 5:48 mark of the first half during the Sting's game at Indiana on May 22. In her WNBA debut on May 21, McCarville posted two points and six rebounds in 25 minutes against Washington.
The Sting return to the court on Saturday, May 28, at 6:00 p.m. as they host the Los Angeles Sparks at the Charlotte Coliseum.
