
Stefan Stokic Named Defender of the Week

KANSAS CITY- The Kansas City Comets were once again well represented on the Major Arena Soccer League's Team of the Week. Stefan Stokic was honored as the only defender on the team, while forward Leo Gibson and goalkeeper Stephen Paterson earned Honorable Mention.
Stokic played his best two games of the season over the weekend with seven blocks, including four in Sunday's 5-1 victory over the Baltimore Blast. He also added two goals on Sunday and was named the First Star for his efforts.
The rest of the list included goalkeeper William Vanzela (Baltimore Blast), midfielders Ian Bennett (Milwaukee Wave) and Tiguinho (Ontario Fury), and forwards Franck Tayou (Soles de Sonora) and Stefan St. Louis (St. Louis Ambush).

The Comets travel to Lakeland, Florida for their first ever match with the Florida Tropics SC on Saturday December 17th.
