
Steelheads Return to Oklahoma For Back-to-Back Games Tuesday and Wednesday

GARY, Indiana (June 12, 2007) - The Gary Steelheads return to Enid, Oklahoma for the final two games of their current USBL road trip against the Oklahoma Storm. The two teams meet Tuesday and Wednesday night at the Mark Price Arena.
The Steelheads are 1-3 on the current trip, including a 101-96 loss to the Storm on June 7th. It was the first victory for Oklahoma in four meetings with the Steelheads, the previous three at the Genesis Center in Gary.
Following the Oklahoma loss, the Steelheads traveled to Dodge City where they split two games against the league-leading Legend. With a 113-109 victory Saturday night, Gary became the first team to defeat Dodge City at home this year. The Legend had won all ten previous games at the Dodge City Civic Center, making the Gary win their most impressive road victory of the season.
The following afternoon, the Legend fought back with a solid 114-98 decision. In four games between the two teams, each team has won and lost one game on each other's home court.
The Steelheads stand 15-10 going into the final five games of the season. After the two games against the Storm, Gary will return home to face the Brooklyn Kings at the Genesis Center Friday night. The game has been designated as Fan Appreciation Night.
