GARY, Indiana (March 1, 2007) "" The Gary Steelheads tip off their inaugural season in the United States Basketball League with six straight home games, beginning on Friday, April 13th. The Steelheads will face the Jackson Wildcats in back-to-back games Friday and Saturday night at the Genesis Center.
The Steelheads will then host the Delaware Stars on Tuesday, April 17th and the Kansas Cagerz Thursday night, April 19th. Gary renews its previous CBA rivalry with the Albany Patroons on Friday, April 20th. The Steelheads play their first road game on Monday, April 30th, at Jackson.
"Our fans can expect 15 action-packed home games this Spring at the Genesis Center," said Steelheads' President Jewell Harris Jr. "With season tickets starting as low as $70, better weather during the Spring season, more exciting entertainment and a championship caliber team that Coach Cliff Levingston is assembling, everyone in the Region should head down to the Genesis Center because It's Showtime!"
Season ticket packages range from $70 for bleacher seating up to $750 for "Nicholson" seats. Season corporate tables are available at $2,000, with each table seating four. Individual game tickets are as low as $5.
The Steelheads are also offering innovative benefits for season ticket holders, including priority status for other Showtime Entertainment events, a 10 percent discount on team merchandise, invitations to team special events and programs for ticket donation and exchange. Special discounts and incentives with team sponsors will be an added privilege for those purchasing season tickets.
