GARY, Indiana (May 31, 2007) - The Gary Steelheads have released the fourth weekly edition of Showtime With the Steelheads for download through the OurSports Central web site. This week's program features coverage of the team's Memorial Day victory over the Kansas Cagerz, as well as interviews with coach Cliff Levingston, VP/General Manager Kevin Spudic ("Kevin's Corner") and Hidden Hero guest Jeff Metz.
In this week's program, coach Cliff Levingston shares his views on what has made the Kansas Cagerz such a challenging opponent for the Steelheads this season. He also looks forward to the USBL stretch drive and what Gary will need to do stand tall in the playoffs. Vice President and General Manager Kevin Spudic discloses details on upcoming Steelheads' basketball camps. And this week's Hidden Heroes segment features Gary Steelheads' Account Manager and Director of Game Operations, Jeff Metz, who tells listeners about everything that goes into the operations of a professional basketball game.
Showtime With the Steelheads is hosted and produced by Bill Hazen, the Steelheads' Director of Media/Public Relations. The program utilizes digital audio techniques to increase the audio quality of interview subjects, wherever they happen to be.
Showtime With the Steelheads is available for download at the OurSports Central web site (www.oursportscentral.com). Once downloaded, the program can be heard either directly on a computer, or it can be transferred to an .mp3 player for listening anywhere at any time. The program will be updated weekly throughout the current season.
