Gary, IN-The Gary Steelheads have announced that the team's most recent acquisition is 6'9" Forward/Center Courtney Williams.
Williams attended Schoolcraft Junior College (Missouri), averaging 15.6 points and 12.1 rebounds per game, before finishing his collegiate career at UNC Charlotte.
This will be Williams' first stint as a professional, and the Steelheads' front office and head coach Rob Spon believe Williams has a tremendous upside.
"Courtney simply needs the right opportunity, and I believe he will excel," said Spon. "He has all the attributes to be not just a good, but a great player."
