Steeldogs Begin Preparations for 2003

BIRMINGHAM, AL â Birmingham Steeldogs Head Coach Bobby Humphrey, entering his fourth season in Birmingham, announced that he will be conducting an open tryout camp on Sunday, October 13th at the Lawson Field. The camp will begin promptly at 12:00 p.m. with registration beginning at 10:30 a.m.
There is a $40 registration fee, and each participant will receive a Steeldogs Camp T-shirt. No registrations will be accepted after 12:00 p.m. the day of the tryout. Interested individuals can pre-register by stopping by the Steeldogs Office, picking up a registration form and paying the registration fee.
Participants will be evaluated in the 40-yard dash, long shuttle, short shuttle, standing broad jump, passing / catching drills, and other positional drills. A kickers camp will be held at a later date. Attire for the camp is shorts and turf cleats.
Season Tickets for the Steeldogs 2003 Season are on sale now and require only a $25 deposit to reserve your seat for all 8 home games. Prices for the upcoming 2003 Season are as follows:
1st and 2nd Row Seating: $240
Grid Iron Seating: $144
Sideline Seating: $ 80
Upper Level Seating: $ 64
