Published on December 10, 2014 under National Lacrosse League (NLL) News Release
Vancouver, BC (Wednesday, December 10, 2014) - Vancouver Stealth President and General Manager Doug Locker announced today that the Stealth have reduced their pre-season roster by eight players.
The following players have been released:
Steve Ferdinandi - Defence, New Westminster, BC
Ryan Johnson - Forward, Chilliwack, BC
Dan Keane - Forward, Elora, ON
Kevin Neufeld - Defence, Coquitlam, BC
Johnnie Rae - Defence, Barrie, ON
DJ Saari - Defence, Mission, BC
Brandan Smith - Defence, Victoria, BC
Chris Wardle - Forward, Victoria, BC
"This is always a tough time of year," said Locker. "Decisions have to be made to get to our final roster. We have been impressed with everyone in camp - the unfortunate reality is that we can only carry 24 players after December 18."
The Stealth will continue to trim down their roster when they resume training camp on Saturday with two practice sessions, both of which are open to the public. The first is from 9:00AM-11:00AM followed by an evening session from 5:00PM-7:00PM. For the full schedule and availability about training camp visit www.StealthLAX.com.
