Statmore and Belle to Attend Mountainville Banquet

Allentown, Pa- On Saturday, November 3rd, Assistant General Manager Erin Statmore and Philadelphia Force mascot, Belle, will be attending the Annual Mountainville Memorial Girls Softball banquet to be held at the Mountainville Memorial in Allentown.

The Mountainville softball program has approximately 100 girls that participate in the Spring/Summer program and range in ages from 6 to 16. They also support four "Fall League" teams which play at the 10, 12, 14, and 16 year-old levels. The Fall program allows the girls to experience the game in true ASA fashion. Season's end is highlighted by the annual awards banquet where a $250 CD is awarded to the girl that best demonstrates hustle, heart, good citizenship, community volunteering, and a desire to go further in education.

Ms. Statmore will provide the motivational speech for the evening. Currently a varsity high school coach, and a former four-year college player, she will shares stories of her experiences in playing in youth leagues, to her college days, to her becoming the assistant general manager of the Force. Ms. Statmore will call upon these stories to demonstrate to the girls the importance of playing in a team environment and the value of education.

"This is something very exciting to be apart of and a great way for the Philadelphia Force to get into the community. I know what it's like to have positive role models growing up and it's great to be able to talk about that to the Mountainville Softball Program ", said Statmore.

Belle will be on hand to enlighten all in attendance with her zaniness.
