Statement from the Ontario Hockey League
November 9, 2023 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL) News Release
On Wednesday, the Ontario Hockey League Board of Governors met for the first time since the October 7th attack on Israel. The Governors took the opportunity to discuss the situation in the Middle East and how those events may be adversely impacting members of the OHL community. The League wishes to re-affirm that its teams and Governors strongly condemn terrorism and stand against all forms of hate, including antisemitism and Islamophobia. We stand with all who are affected by what is occurring, both in the Middle East and throughout the world. We hope for the day when all people in the region and the rest of the world can live in peace without discrimination.
