Sixteen very talented and lovely ladies from NW Arkansas recently proved they are the Spirit - The Spirit Cheer/Dance Team for the Arkansas Stars. "The competition was tough and the judging was tougher," said Jenny Lewis, former Kansas City Chiefs Cheerleader, who judged the tryouts. "They are a talented group of girls."
The team, directed by Angie Baker of Cheer Unlimited, includes Alexis Anderson, Ashley Aydelott, Natalie Aydelott, Angel Beasley, Tara Beebe, Natalie Dobry, Amy Eichler, Lacey Hayes, Jordan Henry, Melissa Horvath, Amanda Moore, Kim Nottenkamper, Julie Ogden, Stephanie Richardson, Niki Simonovich, April Whiteside.
You can see The Spirit Cheer/Dance Team perform at all Arkansas Stars home games and the team will be making personal appearances throughout the NW Arkansas area. "We are still looking for a sponsor for the squad," said Katona Hargrave, Owner of the Arkansas Stars, "but it hasn't stopped The Spirit of these girls."
