Stars Add Heavy-Hitters to Concession Lineup

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - The Huntsville Stars are proud to announce a partnership with local businesses Jet's Pizza and KaleidoScoops Ice Cream for the 2012 season. Both food options will be available in the concession stands at Joe Davis Stadium during every home game.
Jet's Pizza will offer fans delicious, piping hot pizza slices from the Jet's Pizza Stand located along the third base line. Fans will have the option of peperoni or cheese pizza.
"Not only are we excited to have recently become a proud member of the Huntsville community, we are also pleased to announce that we've been appointed as a new vendor at the home of the Huntsville Stars baseball team, Joe Davis Stadium. We hope that everyone comes out to cheer and support the team and also enjoy Jet's Pizza," said Sal Marchionda, manager of Jet's Pizza.
Fans can also satisfy their sweet tooth with a scoop of ice cream or a fresh smoothie at the KaleidoScoops window down the first base line. They will have a variety of flavors for both, including chocolate, vanilla, cookies and cream, mint chip and a flavor of the week for ice cream and strawberry yogurt, mango sorbet and raspberry sorbet smoothies.
"We're excited to expand the concession options for fans by teaming up with great local businesses," said Ryan Edwards, Director of Corporate Sales.
The Stars open the 2012 season on the road on April 5, but return to "The Joe" on Sunday, April 15 to play the Tennessee Smokies for a five-game series immediately followed by five games against the Birmingham Barons!
