Boston Pride News Release
The Boston-based professional women's hockey team will be outfitted in STÃâRK HockeyÃÂ gear for the upcoming 2020-21 season.
The Boston Pride of the National Women's Hockey League have announced a new partnership with STÃâRK Hockey, an innovative hockey brand focused on delivering value while creating products that are both exclusive and desirable.
For the 2020-21 season, Boston Pride players will be supplied with customized sticks from STÃâRK, built from their preferences in patterns, and grips, among other specifications such as shaft length and flex. On the ice, players will wear the highest quality Pride-branded STÃâRK Hockey gloves and pants, and for traveling to and from the rink, STÃâRK is providing personalized equipment, travel, and stick bags.
"We are so excited to find a true partner in STÃâRK Hockey," said Hayley Moore, President of the Boston Pride. "From day one, we have been impressed with STÃâRK's attention to detail in designing hockey equipment specifically for girls and women. Their level of dedication is unparalleled. Throughout the process, our team has been able to provide valuable input to customize their gear for optimal protection, comfort, and mobility. Michel Paul and his team have a genuine commitment to providing the highest level of customer service and quality gear built to each player's specific preferences."
STÃâRK Hockey was founded by industry veteran, Michel Paul. After spending time in leadership positions at Warrior Hockey and Sher-WOOD, Paul saw an opportunity to innovate and disrupt the hockey industry. A primary focus of the STÃâRK business is to develop proper fitting hockey equipment that is made for female hockey players of all ages.
"We could not be prouder to enter a market such as Boston with its passionate fanbase, world-class organization and have our brand be represented by the highest-level athletes in women's professional hockey," said CEO and founder, Michel Paul. "We see this as a momentous opportunity to further our efforts to support the growth of girls' and women's hockey."
The current "Shrink it and Pink it" solutions proposed by current hockey equipment brands do not meet specific needs for athletes, and STÃâRK is proud to pioneer the movement for proper fitting hockey equipment that is engineered for girls and women.
The Boston Pride is currently set to begin the 2020-21 season in November, barring no delays as a result of COVID-19, playing all home games at Warrior Ice Arena in Brighton. For ticket information, please visit: pride.nwhl.zone/tickets.
