
Stampeders Clinch First Place in West Division

Toronto, ON - (October 24, 2008) - The Calgary Stampeders clinched first place in the West Division by defeating the Hamilton Tiger-Cats 28-17 earlier tonight. With the win, the Stampeders improved their record to 12-5 and guarantee first place for the first time since 2000.
Calgary will host the West Final at McMahon Stadium on Saturday, November 15 at 4:30pm ET (TSN).
The BC Lions can secure second place in the West Division tomorrow night with a win of their own combined with an Edmonton Eskimos victory over the Saskatchewan Roughriders (7:00pm ET, TSN). The Lions play host to the Toronto Argonauts Saturday night (10:00pm ET, TSN, Local blackout may be in effect).
