Harrisburg Stampede News Release
HARRISBURG, PA (November 2, 2011) - Harrisburg Stampede's General Manager and Head Coach, Bernie Nowotarski announced today that Veteran Offensive Linemen Stand-Out Mark Stout has re-signed for the 2012 Season.
Mark is a veteran to the Indoor game, and brings with him a wealth of Arena/Indoor experience. Stout also has a long playing history with HC Nowotarski as well with Offensive Line Coach/Offensive Coordinator Ken Miller. That experience brings no less than 3 Championship Rings from his days with Tennessee, Reading and Baltimore. Team Leadership also comes with Stout. He is a no non-sense type of leader in the huddle. He believes his quarterback is in charge of the Offense and especially the huddle.
Before Mark was moving up and down the Indoor Arenas across America, he played his high school football at North High School in Bakersfield, California. He stayed in California for his college career and played and graduated from Sacramento State. Mark is a full time teacher and is currently working at Central Montco VoTech high school in Plymouth Meeting.
At 6'6" and 315lbs and years of experience, Mark is also a mentor to the younger players breaking in and learning the Indoor game. As others have placed their cleats and gear away and faded into the sunset, Mark keeps his passion for the game and the pursuit for that 4th ring still burning. Stouty is just one of those guys/player that you want on your team for many reasons. From his knowledge and understanding of the game to just still having fun playing this crazy game of Indoor Football.
Just a Reminder: Stampede Open-Try Out Saturday January 7, 2012 at Gameface International Sports Complex in Temple Pa., Registration starts at 9pm and Work-Out is from 10pm - 12:30am
