HARRISBURG, PA (March 15, 2012) - The Harrisburg Stampede have Partnered with the local tourism trade and are Proud to announce their relationship with the Pride of the Susquehanna River Cruise Tours. Stampede Owner, Justin Coble commented, "This area has so many different landmarks and sites of interest and the River Boat is just one of those unique experiences that Central Pa has to offer and we are thrilled to be On-Board with them and help to promote a great night of adventure on the mighty Susquehanna."
You can make reservations for dinner cruises, special event cruises, Pirates on the Pride, or River School cruises by clicking on "Reservations". The riverboat is great for bus tours, schools, church or any other type of group outing! The River Boat is equipped with a liquor license from the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board and the Pride has restrooms and is handicapped accessible. The Pride of the Susquehanna is an annually inspected United States Coast Guard Vessel, with trained crew and USCG licensed captains.
As part of this newly formed relationship, The Stampede will take to the River for a Meet and Greet with Friends, Fans and Family. Stay tuned for all the information and details for the Stampede Cruise Night on the Susquehanna.The Pride of the Susquehanna is an authentic stern paddlewheel riverboat owned and operated by the Harrisburg Area Riverboat Society a 501 (c)-3 non-profit group. From May to October, the Pride offers a variety of cruises.Come join us on "The prettiest little riverboat this side of the Mississippi!"
The Pride of the Susquehanna is launched and retrieved from the Susquehanna every year by the Pennsylvania National Guard as a service to our non-profit organization.Just a Reminder: The Stampede Home Opener is Saturday April 7 at 7:05pm at the Equine Arena in the Farm Show Complex.
