Harrisburg Stampede News Release
HARRISBURG, PA (December 22, 2011) - Harrisburg Stampede continued their Community Caring reputation with a Holiday visit to the Hershey Medical Center.
The Stampede delivered toys and stuffed animals to the kids to be enjoyed for the Holiday Season. These stuffed animals and toys were donated to the Stampede by several local businesses. The bulk of the donations came from Dehart Auctions out of Carlisle. The Stampede takes a great deal of pride to be involved with the community and hoped that they provided a few smiles and joy to the kids who will not be home for the Holidays. We have to give a special Thank you to Stampede Coach Justin Coble for getting this event organized.
The Stampede is planning return visits to the Hershey Medical Center and other Agencies that care and look after our children. We will be there to visit, read and just try to bring a smile to every child we can, commented Head Coach Nowotarski.
We at The Stampede ask all our Friends and Fans to get involved whenever or wherever you can to give back to our communities, even if it's just for an hour. We are starting a Ticket Program, which will allow your company or group to get involved with the Stampede and the Youth of our Community. Send Coach an email if you are interested in becoming a part of this special community minded program. bnowotarski@aim.com
Just a Reminder: The Next Stampede Open-Try Out Saturday January 7 at Gameface International Sports Complex in Temple Pa. Registration starts at 9pm and Work-Out is from 10pm - 12:30am
