The Buffalo Stampede fell to the Kebs in Quebec, 100-85. It was the season opener for both teams. Quebec was led in scoring by Ryan Holmes with 25 points and Cordell Jeanty with 21. The Stampede were led by Derick Payne with 21 points and 11 rebounds, and Kevin Ross who chipped in with 12 points. The next two games for the Stampede are at home: Saturday January 9 vs. Rochester, and Sunday January 10 vs. Maryland.
