
Stampede defeat Quebec Kebs

The Buffalo Stampede defeated the Quebec Kebs in Quebec City 119-103. The win was the second in a row for the Stampede and pushed their record to 3-5 on the season good for fifth place in the PBL (Premier Basketball League). The win was a complete team effort with six players scoring in double figures. Kevin Ross led the way with 24 points and 12 rebounds, Corey Herring 20 points, Aaron Harrison 17, Greg Gamble and Andy Robinson had 16 apiece. Marcus Hall had 10 and a hightlight film dunk that helped spark the Stampede team. Chuck Walker had 9 points and Garrett Schmidt had 7.
This was a total team effort as the Stampede were without two of their starters Damone Brown and Mark Price who did not make the trip. The road trip continues for the Stampede with a game against the Halifax Rainmen on Sunday at 1pm. The Stampede return home with a big game against the Vermont Frost Heaves on Saturday Feb. 13th at 7:30pm. All home games are played at the Canisius College Koessler Athletic Center.
