
Stampede Comeback Falls Short

Fayetteville, NC (March 27, 2011) - The Harrisburg Stampede battled back from a 50-22 halftime deficit to take a 64-62 lead with 51 seconds to go on a Kelvin Robinson to Abe Taylor touchdown pass, but the Fayetteville Force scored on a 45-yard touchdown pass from Lamar Little to Jay Jackson with 19 seconds to go to take a 69-66 lead. Fayetteville then added a touchdown on a blocked field goal attempt as time expired to defeat the Stampede 75-66. Kelvin Robinson had six touchdown passes and a rushing touchdown and Jermaine Thaxton had two key interceptions, including one for a score, to spark the comeback.
