Stampede Coaching Staff Working with Philadelphia Soul

HARRISBURG, PA (October 27, 2011) - Harrisburg Stampede's General Manager and Head Coach, Bernie Nowotarski announced today that he and Assistant Coach Bill Sellars spent last Saturday on the field with The Philadelphia Soul helping out with the Soul try-outs.

I would like to thank the Soul organization for this opportunity. It gives our staff a chance to see the AFL and The Soul up-close and be right in the middle of the work-out. With the Soul being only an hour or so away from us, it just makes sense to get involved with them on any level we can. The ability to look at players or have players so close to us is just an advantage that we can't pass up. This is a chance for our coaches to be seen and for players to see us. We were right there helping out and working for the Soul for the day at 100%, but the exposure for our staff, our team and our league, the AIF was just great, commented Nowotarski. I feel we certainly picked up on some new drills and techniques that will certainly be helpful to our players. As well as priceless connections with the Soul coaching staff and front office staff
