2012 Stampede Coaching Staff Set

HARRISBURG, PA (October 27, 2011) - Harrisburg Stampede's General Manager and Head Coach, Bernie Nowotarski announced today his Coaching Staff for the 2012 Season.

With The Stampede entering the AIF and the open style of play, it is important to our success to have a staff that reflects that open style and aggressive play and bring with it the discipline it takes to win a championship. This staff is a direct reflection of what is needed to accomplish that goal.

We have brought on to our Staff, Assistant Head Coach / Offensive Coordinator Ken Miller. Coach Miller has spent the last 6 seasons with the Reading Express. His specialty will be working with the "O" Line and then coordinating the Offense with QB/WR Coach Rick Marsillio. Ricks work as a former QB and the time he spent on the staff last season will prove to be so valuable to this high impact offense. Justin Coble will back on the staff taking over the "D" Line and Linebackers. Head Coach Nowotarski will be working with the defensive backs and coordinating the defense with Coach Coble, while also aiding and overseeing the Offense with Coach Miller. Another addition coming from Reading is Coach William Sellars. Coach Sellars will be able to assist with the "O" and "D" lines as well as the running backs and Special Teams. Back again this season is Jake Minnich. Jake will also provide us with coaching skills on both sides of the ball and special teams.

I have a great feeling about this collection of Coaches and their strengths. We have a solid understanding of what our Goals and Tasks are ahead of us. We also have very strong bonds off the field as well. A Professional, Family Style, Tight Knit group is what we are bringing to the AIF, our players and most importantly our Harrisburg Stampede Family of Fans !!
