Stampede Announce Open Tryouts

HARRISBURG, PA (Sept 26 2014) The Harrisburg Stampede will hold their annual Open Tryouts Saturday, November 22, 2014 at In-the-Net Fieldhouse (798 Airport Road) in Palmyra, PA.
There is a $40 pre-registration fee for each participant (walk up registrations are $50). Each participant will participate in a professional evaluation by the Harrisburg Stampede's partnership with Sports Testing, Inc., a s tate-of-the-art measurement technology and integrated data management system . The Stampede coaching staff and other arena football representatives will also be on hand for player evaluations. All participants will receive a Harrisburg Stampede workout shirt and two tickets to the 2015 Stampede home opener at Giant Center.
Event Details:
-Check in time for Walk Up Registration time is from 7:00am to 8:00am
-Check in time for Pre-registered Participants is from 8:00am - 8:45am
-Player Evaluations and workouts will take place from 9:00am - 1:00pm
-Participants are asked to wear appropriate football workout attire including cleats, shorts and gloves.

Early registration is available online at www.harrisburgstampede.com/tryouts. Advanced registrations will be accepted from Friday, September 26th through Wednesday, November 19th.
Over the past six years, the Stampede hosted more than 500 participants for Open Tryouts, with the following success stories:
Collis Martin, WR (C.W. Post) - Open Tryouts 2010, All League AIF, SIFL, and 2014 Stampede Offensive MVP. Victor Sesay, OL, WR, DE (University of Missouri) - Invite Only Tryout 2012; assigned to the Harrisburg Stampede Travis Proctor, DB (Shippensburg University) - Open Tryouts 2012 ; assigned to the Harrisburg Stampede Norm White, WR (Villanova University) - moved up to the Philadelphia Soul 2014 Scorpio Brown, WR (Hampton University) - moved up to Philadelphia Soul 2013, San Jose Saber Cats 2014 JJ Jones, WR (University of Rhode Island) - moved up to San Jose Saber Cats in 2014, HYVINKAA Falcons (Finland) 2014. Even Twombly, WR (Gannon University) moved up to Pittsburgh Power 2014
