St. Louis Attack Announce Regional Scouting Director

St. Charles, MO-St. Louis Attack are pleased to announce Brent Burnside will be a Regional Scouting Director for the upcoming season. Burnside will help in the continuous task of seeking out talented players for the Attack squad as well as player evaluations. Burnside is based in Labelle Florida, but will also scout in the Kansas City region.

Brent Burnside played professional football for 10 years. Burnside played for numerous teams in the AF2 and the Houston Thunderbears of the Arena Football League. Burnside started his coaching career as the Assistant Coach at Florida Christian Institute from 2005 - 2008. He then took the Assistant Coaching position at Labelle High School. He is currently the Assistant Coach at Southwest Florida Christian Academy in Fort Meyers, as well as a Coach at Mastrole Passing Academy. Burnside also worked with Attack owner Andrew Haines as the Director of Player Personal with the Florida Tarpons of the Ultimate Indoor Football League. While working together the Tarpons went undefeated in the regular season.

Brent Burnside says, "I am thankful and excited about the opportunity. It will be a chance for me to continue to invest in a game that gave me 10 years. I will use that experience and knowledge to help this organization in any way that I can."

I have had the pleasure of playing with Brent and I know he will be an invaluable piece of our Attack family. He was a great player and competitor when we played together and is a great coach as well. Brent Burnside is a well respected member of the indoor football family and I know he will be a great asset to us in helping find good quality talent all over the country and not just in the Missouri area. Talent is something that Burnside has a great eye for, and his championship experience and knowledge will be instrumental in helping us realize our goal of bringing a Ring to our St. Louis Attack franchise. He is a great man and I am thankful to have him as a part of our St. Louis Attack family".

Andrew Haines St. Louis Attack Owner stated, "I am thrilled to be working with Brent again, we have had great success while working together. Brent will do a great job helping the Attack continue to recruit great players from areas outside of the St. Louis area."

The St. Louis Attack professional indoor football team is a member of the X-League. The Attack were awarded an X-League expansion team to begin play in the spring of 2014 at the Family Arena in St. Charles, MO. The X-League is a new innovative Professional Indoor Arena Football League with teams in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Missouri and Pennsylvania.
