
Springfield Hosts K.C. Tonight in WTT Playoffs

The Springfield Lasers clinched the top seed in the Western Conference of the World TeamTennis Pro League presented by GEICO last night, with its win over Sacramento Capitals (22-19).
Springfield will host the WTT Western Conference Championship match at 7:05 p.m., tonight, Friday, July 23, vs. Kansas City Explorers at Mediacom Stadium at Cooper Tennis Complex, 2331 E. Pythian St.
Tickets are available beginning at 8 a.m. this morning, by calling 417-837-5800, visiting www.springfieldlasers.com, or visiting Cooper Tennis Complex in person. General Admission Grandstand tickets are $15; Reserved Box Seats are $30. All ticket packages and other promotions honored during the Lasers' regular season will remain.
The Boston Lobsters will take on the New York Sportimes in the WTT Eastern Conference Championship in New York tonight as well. The winner of that match will take on the Western Conference Champion in Kansas City at 6:35 p.m. (CDT), Sunday, July 23 for the WTT Finals. Staff will sell WTT Finals tickets to the Sunday match in K.C. this evening at Cooper Tennis Complex. Ticket prices start as low as $10 to the Finals. Tickets are also available at www.ticketmaster.com or charge by phone at 800-745-3000.
