
Sportsnet to Broadcast Remaining Games of OHL Western Conference Final

Toronto, ON - The Ontario Hockey League today announced that Sportsnet will broadcast all remaining games of the Western Conference Championship Series between the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds and the Erie Otters.
Game 6 of the series takes place on Saturday May 2 with a new start time of 7:30 pm and will be broadcast on Sportsnet 360, East, Ontario, West, and Pacific channels. Should the series require a Game 7 on Monday May 4, it will be broadcast at 7:00 pm on Sportsnet ONE. The Otters currently lead the series 3-2 following a Game 5 victory by the Greyhounds on Thursday night.
The Eastern Conference Championship Series between the Oshawa Generals and the North Bay Battalion is currently tied 2-2 with Game 5 set for Friday night at 7:35 pm in Oshawa, with Game 6 to be played on Sunday May 3 at 2:00 pm in North Bay. All games are available locally in Durham Region on Rogers TV Cable 10/63 and Digital 510 (HD), as well as in North Bay on TVCogeco Cable 12. Rogers Digital subscribers can watch all games across the province on Rogers TV Sports+ channels 368 (SD) and 369 (HD).

The Western Conference Champion receives the Wayne Gretzky Trophy named in honour of the Hockey Hall of Fame member who played for the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds in 1977-78. Since the two conference division in 1999, the Greyhounds are seeking their first Western Conference title, while the Otters captured their only Wayne Gretzky Trophy in 2002. The Eastern Conference Champion receives the Bobby Orr Trophy named in honour of the Hockey Hall of Fame member who played four OHL seasons with the Oshawa Generals from 1962-66. Since the two conference division in 1999, the Generals are seeking their first Eastern Conference title, while the Battalion hoisted the trophy last season as well as 2009 in Brampton.
