SportsCenter coming to Surprise Stadium

MESA, ARIZONA -The most successful sports highlight show, ESPN's SportsCenter, is coming to Surprise, Arizona as part of their 50 states in 50 days tour. The network will broadcast their nightly show during the Surprise Fightin' Falcons August 11 game against the Mesa Miners at 7:05pm.

The tour began on Sunday, July 17 at Fenway Park following the Yankees-Red Sox game and will stop at a sporting event in a different state each day through September 4. Each SportsCenter Across America segment will originate from a mobile SportsCenter set with an anchor and a live audience at a sporting event. These daily segments will include event action, historical notes, and facts about each state's contribution to the national sports scene, as well as "Best" lists compiled from ESPN research and ESPN.com voters, and several long-form features.

August 11 will also be fan appreciation day at Surprise Stadium where fans will have a chance to win over $5,000 in FREE raffle prizes. Also, fans will have a chance to win a game worn jersey of their favorite Fightin' Falcon in a "Jersey Off the Back" promotion presented by Glendale Springhill Suites by Marriott.
