IN THEIR WORDS
Head Coach Omid Namazi on Wednesday's preseason match against LMU...
"The game against LMU was a good opportunity for us to get a better look at some players that we still have in camp. I thought our play at times was very good, but at other times it was sloppy. We are working on becoming a more efficient team while in possession of the ball, as well as improving our transition from offense to defense, and vice versa, which needs to be a little quicker. Our defenders did a good job of keeping their forwards in check. In the midfield it took us a while to get organized and sort out our markings, but once we did we looked good in there, with the combination of Mascaro and Nielsen. Allie Kemp-Sullivan once again showed her speed and athleticism by finding the space behind their defenders and scoring three goals in the first half. Overall it was a good game and our players are starting to understand their roles much better."
