Saturday night marked one of his top performances of the year making 38 saves to beat the Kitchener Rangers 3-0 to earn first star of the game honours with his first shutout of the season. He wrapped up his week and the regular season on Sunday with second star honours in a 4-1 win over the Plymouth Whalers where he made 34 saves.
