Charlotte Hounds News Release

CHARLOTTE, NC - Charlotte Lacrosse LLC today announced that Spirit Communications has renewed its sponsorship deal and will remain the Official Telecommunications Provider of the Charlotte Hounds through 2016.

Spirit Communications will have a presence with the Hounds both on and off the field. Elements of the partnership include stadium signage, print and digital advertisements, social media, networking events and hospitality. In addition, the Hounds will continue to present the "Spirit Award" to one fan and one player at the conclusion of every home game. "Spirit Award" recipients are selected based on showing outstanding effort and enthusiasm throughout the games.

"We are excited to keep this partnership going," said Hounds Vice President Wade Leaphart. "It truly is a year-round relationship, whether we're working together at games or in the office as an actual Spirit customer. These guys have supported the Hounds since the beginning and we are very appreciative of that."

Spirit Communications Director of Marketing Roddy Broadnax added, "We are honored to be back for the fourth year as Official Telecommunications Provider of the Charlotte Hounds. We can think of no way better to enhance our brand in the Charlotte market than supporting a class operation like the Hounds."

The 2016 Hounds season opens at home on Saturday, April 23, against the Boston Cannons. Faceoff is scheduled for 7:30pm ET at American Legion Memorial Stadium. The team is currently accepting ticket deposits for 2016 while revamping the fan experience. Full details, along with pricing and seating maps, will be released in the next few weeks.
