Spikes Fuel Perks Ticket Promotion Is Underway

STATE COLLEGE- The State College Spikes first-ever "Fuel Perks" ticket promotion is now underway. Now through next Friday, May 20,any fanpurchasing one of seven (7) select Spikes ticketpackages will earn up to$100 per seat in free gas to helpcombat the high prices currentlybeing paid at the pump.

Highlighting the promotion, any fan purchasing new season tickets during the promotion period will earn a $100 gas card for each seat purchased. Therefore, a new purchase of four (4) season tickets will yield $400 in gas cards upon payment in full.

The Spikes are also offering gas perks for fans purchasing other ticket packages:

New MINI PLAN purchasers will receive 25% of their total back in a gas card. Groups that reserve their order will receive $1 back in gas cards for each individual in their group. Groups that reserve an all-you-can-eat picnic for any game will receive $2 back in gas cards per person. A group that reserves a 20-person ballpark suite will receive a $100 gas card and a group that reserves a 40-person ballpark suite will receive a $200 gas card. Birthday parties will receive a $1 back per ticket bought in gas cards. Field of Dreams groups will receive $1 back per ticket bought in gas cards.

Current Spikes season ticket holders can also get involved in the "Spikes Fuel Perks" promotion. Any current season ticket holder referring someone who buys new season tickets from May 9-20 will receive a $25 gas card per seat sold as a result of their referral.

The Spikes open the 2011 season at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park on Sunday, June 19 against the rival Williamsport Crosscutters (Philadelphia Phillies' Affiliate). Single-game tickets for the Home Opener and all 38 Spikes regular season home games are currently on sale through the Spikes Box Office by calling (814) 272-1711 or by visiting in person weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fans can also buy and print single-game tickets at www.statecollegespikes.com.
