SPHL Names Chad Collins Rookie of the Year

[Asheville, NC] – Fayetteville FireAntz goalie, Chad Collins, has been voted Rookie of the Year for the 2004-2005 season for the Southern Professional Hockey League.
Collins, from Guelph, Ontario, was also honored with Goalie of the Year and selected for the All Star Team. Chad led the SPHL in save percentage, goals against average and shutouts.
Coaches, general managers and beat writers of all eight teams in the SPHL were polled for this award. Orrin Hergott of the Columbus Cottonmouths came in a close second to Collins.
