
SPHL Announces Suspensions

HUNTERSVILLE, NC (December 21, 2015) - The Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) today announced the following suspensions:
Columbus' Garret Lockeridge
Columbus' Garrett Lockeridge has been suspended three games for an unpenalized incident in Game 81, Peoria at Columbus, played on Saturday, December 19.
At the 10:22 mark of the third period, Mr. Lockeridge left his player's bench, became involved in an altercation on the ice, and then returned to his bench.
Lockeridge will miss Columbus' games against Fayetteville (December 23), Huntsville (December 26) and Pensacola (December 27).
Fayetteville's Bennett Schneider
Fayetteville's Bennett Schneider has been suspended three games for his actions in Game 79, Fayetteville at Macon, played on Friday, December 18.
At the 16:09 mark of the third period, Schneider was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for kneeing Macon's Shawn Skelly.
Schneider sat out Fayetteville's contest against Macon on December 19 and will miss games against Columbus (December 23) and Knoxville (December 26).
