SPHL Announces Schedule Changes

CHARLOTTE, NC (August 9, 2011) - The Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) today announced several changes to the 2011-2012 regular season schedule.

Due to an event conflict at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum, the Surge's home opener against Columbus originally scheduled for Saturday, October 29 has been moved to Friday, October 28, when they will now host the Huntsville Havoc.

Fayetteville's game against Huntsville on Friday, October 28 has been moved to Saturday, October 29, with the Knoxville Ice Bears the new opponent.

In addition, the Mississippi RiverKings, who were scheduled to host Knoxville on Saturday, October 29, will now play Columbus.
