SPHL Announces Inaugural Challenge Round Schedule

HUNTERSVILLE, NC - After a hugely successful Challenge Round Selection Show that featured several surprise selections, the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) on Sunday announced the schedule for the inau- gural, best-of-three Challenge Round.

#1 Peoria Rivermen vs. #8 Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs Game 1 - Wednesday, April 11 at Roanoke (at LaHaye Ice Center, Liberty University), 7:00 pm Game 2 - Friday, April 13 at Peoria (at Owens Center), 7:15 pm Game 3 - Saturday, April 14 at Peoria (at Owens Center), 7:15 pm (if necessary)

#2 Macon Mayhem vs. #6 Evansville Thunderbolts Game 1 - Thursday, April 12 at Evansville, 7:00 pm Game 2 - Saturday, April 14 at Macon, 7:35 pm Game 3 - Sunday, April 15 at Macon, 4:30 pm (if necessary)

#3 Pensacola Ice Flyers vs. #5 Knoxville Ice Bears Game 1 - Thursday, April 12 at Pensacola, 7:05 pm Game 2 - Saturday, April 14 at Knoxville, 7:35 pm Game 3 - Sunday, April 15 at Pensacola (at Pelham Civic Center, Birmingham), 5:00 pm (if necessary)

#4 Huntsville Havoc vs. #7 Mississippi RiverKings Game 1 - Thursday, April 12 at Mississippi, 7:00 pm Game 2 - Saturday, April 14 at Huntsville, 7:00 pm Game 3 - Sunday, April 15 at Huntsville, 5:00 pm (if necessary)
