LEÓN KING: Pedro León has 11 home runs and 30 stolen bases on the year, making him one of eight players in Minor League Baseball with at least 10 home runs and 30 stolen bases this year. León is second in the PCL in stolen bases (30), third in doubles (21), fourth in walks (47) and tied for ninth in extra-base hits (34).

ROSTER MOVES: Prior to Thursday's game, the Astros assigned catcher Jose Alvarez to the Space Cowboys from High A Asheville. Alvarez has hit a combined .239 (33x138) with two home runs and 15 RBI with Double A Corpus Christi (29 G) and Asheville (11 G). The Astros signed Alvarez as a non-drafted free agent from Venezuela in 2017.

COOL WHIP: RHP Chad Donato ranks fifth in the Pacific Coast League with a 1.23 WHIP and seventh with a 4.79 ERA. He has the fifth-lowest WHIP of Astros minor leaguers with at least 50 innings.
